This exhibition is being presented by the Ecomuseum of Corvo as part of the "People of Corvo and their Contribution to the Community and the World" activity, developed with the aim of publicising the activities of people from Corvo who excel in a wide variety of areas.
In this exhibition, Kathleen Rita sought to capture various aspects of the landscapes and people of the island of Corvo, portraying the genuineness, authenticity, customs, faces, relationships and emotions of an island that, due to its history, small demographic and territorial size and isolation, has unique characteristics.
The author, Kathleen Rita, was born in the United States but, belonging to a family of Corvo origin, moved to Corvo at the age of 13.
The exhibition will be on display throughout 2024 in Corvo's Multipurpose Pavilion and can be visited from Monday to Friday, from 10:30am to 12:30pm and from 1:30pm to 4:30pm.
